You know what? I still think this is all weaker than the original and the manga, but this is probably the most interesting change I've seen in it. Everything else so far has had me shaking my head and going "Really?" at the changes, but it feels like it's actually trying to do something different for once instead of slightly altering things.

really nothing before was different the old show takes forever with side quest then does the final part an Knives does basically nothing but sit down a point a gun while in this version we have the next episode an the last two episodes especially with a lot of details

What the hell? How many plants did Knives kill?!
